So much has happened that I don’t where to begin. I guess I should go back to August 25th of 2021 when I finally met my sweet maternal half sister and her husband in person when we took a road trip to Denver Colorado. Juliana was awesome and wonderful and the in person meeting made us feel more connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During that vacation, I had a zoom interview for a new job as a lead preschool teacher. The interview went excellently and I got the job right from the hotel room in Denver. I was happy to leave Catholic Charities because they had done but lie to me about helping me get my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I really thought that since my adoption happened through Catholic Charities that I came full circle and would retire from there. But they did nothing but lie to me in the early learning department and I was ready to leave. The site that I went to promised to help me go after my Bachelor’s degree through the TEACH Ohio program and true to their word, I started back to school in September of 2022. That is why I’ve been so quiet. Homework has taken up most of my time. But this summer I will get back to writing my memoir and doing more with this website. I will also be interviewed for a podcast on Sunday at https:\/\/www.mindyourownkarma.com\/<\/a> and I’ll let you all know when Melissa posts my podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other news, my child came out to us this summer as being non-binary. Kiddo now goes as by Adri and is a lot happier. They are attending Cuyahoga Community College and going after their associate’s degree in computer programming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
