I feel like I was shortchanged as far as my biological half-brothers and my biological half-sister. I wish they could have been at our wedding. I wish they could have met P.J. when he was younger. I feel like I\u2019m rushing now to make up for all that lost time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is the fear involved when it comes to open adoptions? Why can\u2019t the adoptee have access to all their families if terms can be agreed upon and the situations are positive? It\u2019s something I constantly question. I know I was born in a different time when I guess you could say Open Adoptions were frowned upon.
